What You Can Monitor with Position Tracking
Use this report to see and compare side-by-side your and your competitors’ rankings in Google’s organic top 3, 10, 20, and 100, as well as the ranking in the top paid results from Google Ads.
Here you can monitor keyword rankings for your website or a competitor and track any movements. The report also shows rankings on a SERP and enables you to filter down the results to see what keywords activate SERP features.
This tab helps you identify the top-performing landing page of a particular domain and analyze the metrics of the keywords correlating with that page. You can also monitor the pages that started or stopped performing for a particular query, be it the pages of your website or the ones of your competitor.

Keep track of competitors’ keyword rankings with side-by-side comparison to pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses. You can also create multilingual tracking campaigns for any location you need and filter down to location-specific data.
Discover local competitors
While creating a search engine position tracking campaign with SEMrush, you can add up to ten competing domains. Based on the location that you choose for your tracking campaign, the Competitors Discovery feature will show you which local competitors are ranking in Google’s top 100 results for the same keywords that you are targeting.
