SEOquake 3.4.0 Update
SEOquake, our free browser extension that displays detailed SEO parameters for any webpage on the fly, has been updated to version 3.4.0. This update introduces several usability improvements as well as a couple of handy new features!
If you've never used SEOquake before and would like to learn more about it, please consult the corresponding article on our website. Otherwise, let's get straight to what's new in SEOquake 3.4.0:
SERP Research Tool
We have redesigned the SEOquake module used in all Search Engine Result Pages into a compact menu displayed on the left side of your screen. In addition to being a lot more convenient, the new menu also introduces a brand new feature called SERP Links. You can access it by clicking on the 'View SERP report' button.
As the name suggests, the new report displays concise and structured information on all links found on a select SERP, from link URLs and anchor texts to backlink parameters. As always, you can easily export all data in the report into a .CSV file by clicking on the 'Save as CSV' button.
Dynamic Changes
All SEOquake plugins and modules now collect and display data instantly upon activation, with no need for reloading a webpage. In addition to that, any changes made to SEOquake settings and preferences now take effect immediately as well.
Global Switch & Advanced Settings
One of the major changes introduced with the recent update is the Preferences menu that allows users to customize their SEOquake experience by adjusting various advanced settings to their liking. To access the preferences, first click on the SEOquake icon in your browser (Fig. 1). Then click on the gear icon (Fig. 2) and select and click the 'Preferences' button( Fig. 3).
This will open the preferences menu. Here you can navigate between four tabs (Fig. A) and tweak various SEOquake settings according to your needs. Pay special attention to the 'SEOquake is enabled' option (Fig. B) in the General Preferences tab. Deselecting this option will disable all active SEOquake modules and plugins in your browser with just one click.
All changes made to your SEOquake preferences can be easily undone — simply click on the 'Restore to default' button (Fig. C) to reset all settings to their original state.
Please note that currently the latest update is only available for the Google Chrome version. The Firefox version will soon be updated as well.
We really hope you like the new SEOquake! Please share your comments, ideas and suggestions via email or the built-in feedback form. Thank you for helping us make SEOquake better!
